Clear, concise representation of high density technical data.
The use of proprietary dynamic blocks and custom designed drawing templates allow the display of every asset and it’s properties. Clearly, cleanly, and easily identifiable.
Every client has specific requirements for branding, ownership, and technical validation.
We can work with you to give your company the highest quality level of deliverable, using an efficient and easily installed drafting workflow, to reduce your ongoing costs.
Alternatively, we can offer a drafting service to you, based on an “OPA standard AS5488” complying template. With a single unit price for preparation, QA, amendment, and future tech support, managing project costings is dependable and consistent.
Combine QLA NDD investigations and QLB electronically located data.
Specifically designed call-outs for QLA investigation points are introduced to the drawing using LISP apps.
The survey data drives the generation of surface level, asset level, and calculated depth. Instead of manually calculating only the asset level or data warehousing with external packages like Excel, all the values are created via point-and-click automation.
The expression of all three values gives your project teams at all levels: investigations, design, construction, and engineering, access to the correct set of positional data relevant to their unique roles.
All of this data is then expressed in an automated, comprehensive tabular format.
Partner with OPA and get access to decades of engineering experience.
Partnering with OPA for on-demand drafting services gives you additional layers of quality assurance and engineering risk management.
During processing we will highlight issues we identify as problematic for your client, or AS5488 compliance. Your answers to these technical queries will be addressed and amended during the pre-delivery stage of your product. All as part of the unit based drawing fee.
Final engineering and QA sign-off remain your responsibility, but we believe additional independent contributors reviewing any deliverable greatly decreases the risk of issuing incorrect data which could result in additional cost for you or a reduction in the client’s confidence in your results.
Addition of clearly defined QLD information.
There are many reasons you may have been unable to fully comply with a clients request. Access, traffic management, damaged access points, can all prevent your locator from identifying critical assets.
Your client may also have failed to recognised assets that could cause critical path failure.
The addition of QLD data, from BYDA/DBYD records, ensures all parties understand what each asset owner holds records for in the area.
If you provide the QLD data to us it will be introduced to your deliverable as part of the drawing unit cost, or you can request OPA to perform a BYDA/DBYD investigation for a nominal additional fee.*Additional lead-in time will be required if OPA are to undertake the QLD investigation.
We are also available to perform larger area QLD “desktop studies” for pre-design investigation. Discuss costing based on your proposed scope area with us.
